Description
Refurbished Norfo 524 specializes in efficient salmon beheading for fish 30 to 70 cm long. Users position the fish on the feed rail, gills up, belly towards the knives. You can adjust the cut position and choose if the collarbone stays with the head or body by changing the feed rail height.
Two spiked belts grip the fish, guiding it through slanted circular knives. Working with an adjustable plate, these knives bend the head back, creating a precise wedge cut for maximum yield.
This machine processes up to 40 fish per minute, with adjustments varying by fish size or species tool-free. For a 4-5 kg salmon, expect a 92-93% yield with the collarbone and 90-91% without it.
It prioritizes safety with a central emergency stop and an active safety bar.
The Norfo 524 measures about 900 x 850 x 1950 mm (LxWxH) and weighs around 150 kg.
Can be combined into processing line with other fish processing machines and equipment.
